With your amazing support we blasted through our target of £12,000 in just 5 days! So what to do for the remaining three weeks of the campaign?
Besides making all possible preparations for production and fulfilment, we've now added a few stretch funding targets with additional rewards to be unlocked should we be lucky enough to achieve them.
For the first stretch goal I wanted to give a small gift back to everyone who helped us reach our initial target. If we hit £15k we'll produce an exclusive (and free!) headset top cap just for our Kickstarter backers. You can see our current headset caps here. Everyone at all pledges will get this in their order.
The next two goals will hopefully add extra value to your pledges, with additional options for your kit. At £17.5k we'll bring back our popular bobble hats in colours to match each of the Ogham and Stampen kits. Finally, if we hit £20k, we'll be able to add further sock colour options to each collection.
If you have any feedback on these, or if there's anything else you'd like to see us do, just let me know. I've chosen these new rewards specifically to sit outside our kit production run to ensure the initial offering has absolute priority and is delivered on time.

Day 6 - Fully Funded!

Wow, that was fast. I just wanted to get in touch to say a big cheers for getting behind our kit collection and making it a reality - we could not have done it without you.
I've been working on these kits for over a year and what seemed like an endless winter to get them just right, so to have them received so well puts a big smile on my face. We love these kits and love that you feel the same. I can't wait to get them out to everyone.
For those of you who don't already know Victory Chimp, we're a one-man band, started by me, designer Ryan O'Reilly and aided by willing family members when necessary. We're still a very small brand and it's because of all you fantastic people that we get to do what we do. This kit collection represents a big step forward for us and an exciting new journey into offering a complete range of cycling apparel - who knows what will happen next?
In the short term, getting fully funded so quickly allows us to get the ball rolling with our manufacturers. Production time is now booked in to keep things on schedule and we can make the necessary arrangements to make sure the kits get to you as promised. We'll also be adding a number of stretch goals to the campaign including some exciting additional kit options and completely new items. Stay tuned for more on those soon.
Anyway, I'd just like to thank you once again, and also ask that if you have any cycling friends that you think might love our kit as much as you, please share it - old school word of mouth still rules.

Adding items to your pledge

A few people have asked how to add individual items to an existing pledge to make up their own kit. eg. a Cap & Sock Bundle + extra Gilet. I've created the Individual Item Pricelist on the campaign page to aid this process.
Once you've made your pledge, simply choose the item(s) you'd like from the pricelist and do the following:
1. Click the "Manage your Pledge" button. If you have not pledged yet it will say "Back this Project".
2. Increase the pledge in the "Pledge Amount" box by the total of the items you want to add.
3. A detailed sizing and design/colour survey will be sent to all backers after the campaign ends to confirm pledges before shipping. At this point you will be able to select which items in which designs, colourways and sizes you require. We just need the total amount pledged for now.
If you haven't pledged yet and want to just make up your own kit outside the bundles, pick your item(s) from the pricelist and choose Pledge #1, pledging the total amount of all selected items.

1/3 Funded! Size Guides Added.

Ok, this was to be a post about how we had a wild first 12 hours of our Kickstarter and got 1/3 funded, but when I woke up this morning that figure was over 40%. Unreal.
Massive thanks to all who've supported or shared so far, the response has been incredible.
A few people have requested size guides for the collections. We'll send a detailed survey after the campaign ends to capture design, colourway and sizing selections, but I've added a size guide to the campaign page so you can measure up now and save time later.
We'll cover Men's and Women's cuts in XS-XXXL. If you have any further requirement at either end of that range, get in touch and we'll try to work something out
